How to make it

Cook macaroni and cool. Cook frozen vegetables until boiling. Cool. Drain beans. Chop pepper, onion and celery. Combine macaroni and vegetables in a large mixing bowl. Combine all dressing ingredients in a saucepan and cook over medium heat until clear. Pour over pasta and mix gently. Refrigerate in a covered dish and serve once chilled.

The ingredients

  • 2 cups curly macaroni 

  • 20 oz. mixed frozen vegetables

  • 15 oz can of kidney beans

  • 1 small pepper

  • 1 small onion

  • 4 stalks celery

    Dressing

  • 3/4 cup sugar

  • 3/4 cup vinegar

  • 1 tbsp flour

  • 1 tbsp yellow mustard

  • Dash of salt

  • Dash of celery salt
